Free Account Challenges

Anyone can create a free challenge using ifUiWill. Free challenges are limited to 10 participants, but you can create as many as you want. If you want more advanced feature like a leaderboard, teams challenges, e-mail and more, sign up for a Pro account.

Creating a Free Challenge on the Web

Step 1

Choose a clever title and a description for your challenge. You may also want to hashtag your challenge

Step 2

Do you want others to you? You can invite them here. You can also make this challenge private so no one else can see.

Step 3

Choose and image that will grab peoples' attention

Step 4

What is it you want people to do to do? Also choose the dates for your challenge. Do you want people to check in daily or weekly? Set the check-in frequency.

Step 5

Will you do something in return? You can fill out those terms here. If you are doing the same thing then choose "Same as ifU."

Step 6

If your challenge is of an adult nature, tag it as Adult. Otherwise you're ready to go and publish.

Using ifUiWill Pro Features

ifUiWill Pro offers a lot of premium features. For only $14.99 a month you get unlimited participants, Always Active Challenges, Team Challenges, Leaderboards, Donations, Premium challenges. In order to create a challenge with these features enabled you must use the website to create the challenge.

Always Active Challenges

Always active challenges are only available with a Pro account.  These challenges do not have a beginning or an end date. The date the user joins is the kick-off and the challenge continues until Milestones are completed. Participants will only get to see others’ check-ins when they have reached that milestone.

1. Creating an Always Active Challenge

To create your always active challenge, choose "Always Active" in the dropdown for "What kind of challenge is this?"

2. What do always active challenges look like?

Unlike scheduled challenges that have a specified start date, Always active challenges will always say "Challenge Starts now."

3. Creating e-mails that go with your Always Active challenge

You may want to create emails that correspond to the milestone of your challenge. These emails might tell the participant what to do in the next milestone or offer encouragement. Under the Challenge Management menu you will be able to view e-mails for this challenge.

4. Create an e-mail for your challenge

Here you can see all of the emails you have created for your challenge. To create a new e-mail, select the create e-mail button.

5. Create and Schedule your e-mail

From this create you can create your e-mail. You can also choose to link the email to a specific Milestone and choose when to send the e-mail. For example, maybe you want to send an email 24 hours before the milestone ends to that participants see it the day before.

Sending e-mails though User Management

ifUiWill Pro allows you to send e-mails to your participants.  You can send e-mail through the platform for anyone who has ever signed up for one of your challenge.  You can choose to link these e-mails to a challenge or not, it’s up to you.  You can schedule e-mails or link them to a milestone.

1. Click on User Management

To start, choose user management from the menu bar. User management allows you to e-mail users, check on their completion rates, ban them if they are behaving badly, and nominate moderators.

2. Choosing a specific set of users

If you want to e-mail a specific user or group of users, you can find them here. You can filter by user name, challenges in which they've participates, or hashtags. Choose ther set of user and press create e-mail IF you just want to create an email based on a challenge, click create email without choosing any users.

3. Create an email

From this screen you can create your e-mail. You may choose to schedule the e-mail to send it immediately. You can also create a template you can use over again.

4. You may choose to link this to a challenge

Click on this option to link this email to a challenge. You can do so by expanding this option.

5. Linking your e-mail to a challenge

Choose how you want to link your e-mail to a challenge. You can show a summary of the challenge, link it to a milestone, and send it to all participants of the challenge.

Other User Management Options

Through User Management, you can seer your participants list, download your users as a CSV, appoint moderators, and band users from participating in you challenges.

1. Choose User Management from the menu

The user management section will take you to the user management screen where you can send emails, and manage your user base.

2. Search for your users

You can search for a specific user or filter your user base based on challenges they've joined or hashtags.

3. Get user information

Here you can see the user's trust rating (percentage of time they finish a commitment), number of badges, and the last time they checked in.

4. Blocking users

If a user is behaving badly, you may choose to blog them from posting.

5. Appoint a moderator

You may choose to appoint a user a moderator on your behalf. Even if that user is not a Pro user, they will still have access to the pro features you give them access to.

6. Moderator Rights

You can allow your moderators to have full user management rights to block users, etc. Or you can give them the ability to send emails. Moderators do not have CSV access and cannot see email addresses.

8. Downloading a CSV file of users

Choose the users you want in the file and choose download CSV to download your list so you can add them to your database.
